I started out with very humble beginings in Chireno, Texas, a small town near Nacogdoches. Chireno was not a metropolitan city; in fact, the only heavy industry you might consider we had was a 300 lbs. Avon lady. There wasn't much future for me in Chireno besides farming but I loved the area.

My parents were very loving but not to each other and after a bitter custody battle, my mother relocated us to Plano, TX. I didn't adjust very well and started to display some behavior problems and I became Plano's biggest under-achiever. If it weren't for some very good teachers that held my hand in High School and a transfer back to Nacogdoches, I would have never even graduated. The fact that during my High School years I was a touted as a pretty talented athlete really didn’t matter much because I didn’t have the necessary self-discipline or confidence to become great at anything. My athletic stardom was fleeting to say-the-least as you might have noticed in my picture above.

You might be asking yourself, "why do I want this guy to teach me anything" and the sad truth is I get much worse before I get better. Within 5 short years after attending college, I was divorced; 100 lbs. overweight; type II diabetic; moderate Hypertension; hurting with Reflux Disease and severe joint pain and to top it off I had horrible toe fungus. You might be disgusted or laughing at my toe fungus, however my feet probably saved my life.
