"Do You Know How Much You Are Suppose To Eat -
Discover Your Basal Metabolic Rate!"
By: Randall Gartman
I am going to provide you with a formula that I believe the fitness and nutrition industry doesn't want you to know. It's important for you to know that you can get fat by undereating, almost as much as you can by overeating.
Now I will be honest, in the beginning, a starvation diet will most certainly help you lose weight faster than overeating. But let me define how weight loss occurs under a starvation diet.
- Water and electorlytes are lost first
- Muscle and and Proteins are lost next.
- Finally, body fat is lossed but it is generally the last thing to leave your body, just before you die.
Here are some major reasons undereating causes weight gain - »
If you continue starving yourself, your body begins to break down muscle tissue for fuel. When protein is broken down, it releases nitrogen and your body will quickly wash away the nitrogen by releasing water from tissue cells, causing an immediate reduction in water weight and a noticeable drop on the scale. However, when you lose water weight it will be quickly regained as soon as you have something to drink, and the missing muscle shuts drastically reduces the efficiency of your metabolism.
